Lucy has been virtually untouched this summer other than regular farrier visits and what not. Someone expressed interest in Lucy so I thought I better check in and see where she’s at. She was a little head shy if you moved too quickly and took a defensive or suspicious posture. I expected she might be a bit more challenging and take extra time. The little beauty was reluctant to leave the herd but she revealed herself quickly. I was pleasantly surprised, she immediately dropped her head and went to work, flexing softly, marched over the teeter totter, the mattress and the tarp! I saddled her for the first time and rode her as well. Not a buck or bolt in her!
